This is all stripped down and is all cleaned, it has been up in my shed wrapped in cling film for a number of years. Engine for sale B.B. Ford 460 (+ 0.030” overbore) street /strip motor Best parts used throughout. Spare parts and engine stand included in the price including flexplate, new gaskets, carb spacer, second fuel regulator, fan, rubber hose etc. Built for a project but never used. Motor built to Ford specs./torque settings with numerous new parts. Has not been run. Valve covers and carb. are removable for inspection. New Fel-Pro gaskets throughout. New Clevite 77 shells used throughout. Cast iron block, stamped D1VE (1968-70) Cleaned prepped, overbored 0.030” – shells P+30, M+20, R+20. All new Rollmaster double row timing chain, new Fluidamper balancer, new pistons, new rings, new rod bolts, new shells etc. Sump is a baffled Milodon item with matching oil pump and pickup with extension to rear of sump. Cast iron heads, stamped D3VE-AA (1972-74). Combustion chambers have had all casting marks removed, polished and evened for size. Intake and exhaust ports matched to gaskets and mildly ported. ARP 12 point head bolts, Milodon roller rockers. Valves new. Hydraulic cam (0.570/0.570), lifters and pushrods all new. Valvetrain has liberal coating of CV Grease (Molybdenum Sulphide) ready for successful startup. Headbolts, crank bolt etc. have copper anti-seize on them, pistons and rings are liberally oiled. Engine has a serpentine belt system with Ford Motorsport Racing underdrive pulleys, high output 429CJ water pump, remote oil filter with take-off, AN10 Stratoflex braided lines and AN10 Stratoflex (aircraft quality) fittings. Edelbrock intake Performer RPM, 2” spacer, handmade 6082 transition plate and a rebuilt, cleaned and refurbished Holley 850cfm carb, braided lines and Holley fuel regulator. Air cleaner and rocker covers are gold Moroso items. Block professionally 'O' ringed,align bored and honed by Jeff Bull race engines. Block and crank had done 5-passes from new,when motor rodded itself. One bore and 2in. of sump rail were damaged,the damage to sump rail of block has been Professionally repaired by Ben and Kenny coleman at EDA. One liner is needed in block,giving it endless cubic inch combinations,currently at 481c.i,with this 4.00in crank. The block will safely bore to 4.600in,with a 4.500in crank will give you 615c.i. so many combinations available. The 4.00in. Scat crank has been checked by Kenny Coleman and is in perfect shape,and is on standard. Photos of damaged bore. repaires to block rail and of crank available on request. Complete Methanol 1250 CFM carburetor and fuel system FOR SALE: Complete Methanol 1250 CFM carburetor and fuel system, ready to bolt on. The carb is a BLP Dominator with billet metering blocks, extended jets and contoured float bowl for the front of the carb. The carb has been calibrated by Tony Morris and comes with spare jets for fine tuning. The carb has a BLP telescopic fuel log for ease of plumbing. The fuel pump is a BLP .500” internally regulated belt driven pump. The bracket suits a Big Block Chevy but this can easily be changed for different applications. There is a -8 BMRS braided hose to go between the pump and the carb. I have the pulley to go on the crankshaft and a drive belt to suit. I have run this entire fuel system on a 565” big block Chevy which made 750+ hp on the dyno, the fuel system would suit any Big Block between 700-900 hp. This is literally a bolt on system which is ready to go, you won’t need any other parts. Benefit from the reduced running costs and the cool engine temperatures of a methanol fuel system. The gear drive is for a BBC engine & everything was supplied through Steve Morris Engines. I have loosely assembled the gear drive but it is all brand new and have the original paperwork from the sale. Any of the "F3" range of prochargers will fit the gear drive. Big Block Chevy race motor NEW LOWER PRICE AND OPTIONS! I am selling a Big Block Chevy Race motor. This is a 565” motor built around a Chevy Bowtie block, with a complete top end package from Dart. This engine has just benefitted from a full rebuild and freshen, including new Clevite bearings, Total Seal gapless piston rings, Cometic MLS head gaskets, belt for the Jesel cam drive, all gaskets and seals and much more besides. ARP fasteners have been used throughout the build. The engine is set up to run on methanol and comes complete with a BLP methanol carb tuned by Tony Morris and a BLP internally regulated mechanical fuel pump. I can provide a more detailed spec upon request as well as full documentation of the rebuild including build notes and photos of every stage. I can also supply dyno sheets and videos. This motor has only got dyno time on it since the rebuild and is timed, jetted and ready to plug and play into your car. This would be a perfect engine for Super Gas/Super Comp, benefit from the cool running and cheap fuel costs of methanol and the reliability of a large Big Block Chevy engine.
